We are very excited to announce our first Bristol in person keynote event for 2025 and it’s a big one! 🙌 Did you know that Bristol has its very own Amazement Park in Wake The Tiger? 🌟 This immersive world of adventure combines purpose, storytelling and art in a way never seen before. These might relate to culture, employee engagement, talent retention or the establishment of best practice HR policies. Across my career I’ve worked with a number of creative organisations in a people role - and look forward to offering my experience in these free sessions. A pleasure to be part of this wonderful not-for-profit organisation doing great things for the creative industries in Bristol and the south west, which is such an important sector for the UK economy. So much brilliant stuff coming up in 2025. I can’t wait to host the keynotes covering the spectacular story from Graham MacVoy of how he has created the amazing immersive world of adventure that is Wake The Tiger, and the always super useful social media trends for the year from Battenhall’s Drew Benvie I’m also looking forward to introducing some brilliant Wake Up Call webinars for BCI members in 2025. They include tips on employee benefits from Andrew Woolnough, the impact of AI on creative storytelling from Rob King, personal branding from David Gilroy, building community with content creators from Imogen Judd, and coping with stress and being resilient from Polly Robinson If you’re part of the region’s creative sector and you’re not a Bristol Creative Industries member, get involved! You’ll get some amazing benefits, including free and discounted events, plus your membership fee contributes directly to BCI’s work such as its talent programme on skills and workforce inclusion and diversity. Alongside food, drinks and networking, we’ll be joined by a brilliant panel: ✅ Vanessa Bewley, programme leader and senior lecturer on BA filmmaking at University of the West of England ✅ Mark Hill, executive TV consultant and ex-head of RDF ✅ Joe Churchill, digital commissioning editor at Channel 4 ✅ Natalie Brereton, TikTok and social media consultant Tickets are only £5 (+VAT and Eventbrite fee). Register here: https://lnkd.in/eEgiCuUi The event is supported by West of England Combined Authority We want this event to reach as many people in the screen industries as possible, so please share this post and tag relevant contacts in the comments. #bristol #bristolevents #screenindustries #filmindustry #filmandtv #tvproduction #filmproduction #screenindustry #creativeindustries #tvindustry Alli Nicholas Shonette Laffy Clare Leczycki Lis Anderson FCIPR Heather Wright Adam Millbank David Darke Tom Harber Tom Bowden-Green Marissa Lewis-Peart Julian Davis Kate Sikora Gail Caig Bristol Film Office Bristol UNESCO City of Film UWE Filmmaking Film Hub South West Russell Jones Elle Dimond Sarah Smither SISTALAND Nikita Dare JonesMillbank Film & Video
