We'd like to congratulate Eve, who took part in the New York Marathon in November, to raise funds for Brake. Eve recently lost two friends in a road crash and wanted to fundraise in their memory. She reached out to us to offer her support, and we are so grateful she did! Baroness Newlove, The Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, has launched the 2024 Victims' Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your views about the criminal justice system and the support you've received. Completing the survey will help to ensure that future victims receive the support and justice outcomes they need. This year, Brake launched its Road Victims' Charter, which demands essential actions to ensure that everyone affected by road crashes receives the respect, support and justice they deserve. This year we have supported more than 2,000 families through our National Road Victim Service. Sadly, we anticipate many more families will come into the service throughout the Christmas period and into the New Year. We rely on donations to help us deliver our specialist emotional and practical support to families during their darkest and most difficult times.
