Gemma worked at Bermans for 20 years and was a much loved friend and colleague. The Beacon Counselling Trust charity was very close to Gemma’s heart as it is to all her family, friends and her colleagues here at Bermans. This charity runs solely on donations and any contribution will be greatly appreciated. The Beacon Counselling Trust are based in the North-West and are a education, treatment and support charity, which employs fully qualified therapists who have extensive experience working in the area of mild to moderate mental health to support individuals on its Merseyside based suicide bereavement programme and its North West based gambling harms programme. It was great to see so many of our clients and referrers at our annual Beaujolais Day Event yesterday held at The Racquet Club Hotel & Venue - an afternoon of networking and catching up, whilst enjoying the flow of food and drinks. We raised an amazing £2,000 in our charity raffle in support of the Beacon Counselling Trust - a big thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought raffle tickets.

We are pleased to announce the recent appointments of Paul Edels and Paul Rabbette to our corporate team at Bermans in Liverpool. Their recruitment has been highlighted in several articles this week, including coverage by North West Insider.    Paul Edels joins us as a Partner, bringing with him extensive experience, particularly in the healthcare sector where he has completed over 100 transactions involving dental practices.   Senior Paralegal Paul Rabbette also joins our team, having worked across various sectors such as dental practices, pharmacies, construction, hospitality businesses, and children's nurseries.   Welcome to the Bermans team, Paul Edels and Paul Rabbette! We look forward to the valuable expertise and insights you will both bring to our firm.

Bermans are delighted to be associated with the Neston Under 18’s hockey team who have recently completed a successful tour of Andalusia defeating Alcala La Real 5-1 and then drawing with Benalmadina 4-4 and San Fernando from Cadiz 3-3 (after being 3-0 down with 10 minutes to go). Our support consisted of sponsoring the tour tops. The squad are pictured below with Conor O’Cleirigh (son of Fergal. O`Cleirigh our senior partner) pointing at our logo!
