From the Emerging Tech segment of #DesignFuturesForum during #SingaporeDesignWeek, some important themes: 🚀 Designers need to experiment with as many AI tools as possible, and explore new communities and industries, because AI is deploying fast and changing our world in real time; 🚀 Designers, with their unique abilities to use imagination, intuition, and instinct to push boundaries, must play a pivotal role in ensuring AI enhances rather than endangers humanity. AI is a co-pilot, but humans can stay in charge; 🚀  Designers must have a seat at the leadership table that shapes guardrails and strategic directions for AI, to ensure it is used safely, ethically and responsibly. It was amazing to be on stage with five impressive thought leaders, one of whom "beemed" in as a hologram. Thank you, Lindsey McInerney, Cathy Hackl, Alex Govoreanu, Philipp Kandal, and Jeremy Ang C. H. for lending us your insights and distinct points of view.
