🇬🇧 It was great to be a part of the industry team which supported the Royal Air Force (RAF) demonstration flights to evaluate augmented reality technology. Working alongside Red 6, our people supported the flights using our Hawk T2 advanced jet trainer from RAF Valley in Angelsey, North Wales.

Mission complete🛰️. PHASA-35, our high altitude pseudo satellite has taken to the stratosphere once again. Our Prismatic Ltd. team launched it, flew it to more than 66,000 feet, landed it and had it ready to fly again in just two days. This rapid turnaround is key to its future success as a cost effective alternative to other earth observation methods like traditional aircraft and satellites. The Eurofighter Typhoon programme has received a contract to deliver 25 additional aircraft to the Spanish Air Force. Our people will work together with our industry partners Airbus Defence and Space and Leonardo Aircraft to reinforce Typhoon's position as the backbone of European defence. ❄️How cool can a role in engineering be?❄️ For Darcy, as an engineer working on developing the PHASA-35, a solar powered aircraft designed to fly in the stratosphere some 65,000 ft about Earth, very cool. Darcy is responsible for ensuring that in order to fly in the stratosphere, the aircraft is able to withstand extreme conditions with temperatures as low as -92 degrees. A new £133m contract to develop our Striker II helmet from the nations behind the Eurofighter Typhoon is expected to secure more than 200 highly-skilled UK jobs.
