DoorDash buying Deliveroo? (they put the bid in) Though the offer failed, it’s not over. DoorDash's interest shows a strategic move. This was just a tester. Even a 20% premium over Deliveroo current share price could be financially beneficial for DoorDash. Weekend delivery sales + 600%. *it's not a typo It is a football and delivery love story. Look, not all stores gained and it depended on their area and food offering. However, many of our stores saw an increase between 100% - 600%. Because: - The majority of deliveries come through their website (run by us) - They control what comes in a what comes out. - They do not depend on third parties. More importantly, - No complaints - Hot food delivered on time. - No overpromise and underdeliver. They are building up a future business AFTER Euros finishes.
