  • Wrapping up an incredible year at Analytic Health 🎉🎁 As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we’ve achieved and look forward to what’s next. Here are three highlights that made this year exceptional for Analytic Health: 1️⃣ Welcoming new team members This year, our team grew stronger as we welcomed Engila Saidy and Chloe Michel. Their expertise and fresh perspectives have already made a significant impact, and we’re excited about what we’ll achieve together in 2025! 2️⃣ Launch of new tools to empower generics manufacturers We introduced Pharmly Budget Analyser and created Pharmly Portfolio Assessment (ready for launch in the new year 👀!), expanding our ecosystem of applications to support sustainable and competitive pharmaceutical markets. These innovations will help our partners streamline decision-making and drive value for the NHS and patients. 3️⃣ Building stronger partnerships Through insightful data analytics and market intelligence, we’ve forged closer collaborations with our clients, enabling them to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a dynamic healthcare landscape. As always, we remain committed to supporting our clients and ensuring affordable medicines reach the people who need them. Here’s to a successful and impactful 2025! 🚀 We wish you a fabulous holiday season. #YearInReview #PharmaAnalytics #TeamGrowth #Innovation

  • On Friday our team had a great time celebrating 2024! 🥳🎉 We went to see Stranger Things at the Phoenix Theatre, which was absolutely amazing. There were a few jump scares (not for the faint-hearted), but we thought it was the best show we’ve ever seen! Afterwards, we had some lovely Japanese food as recommended by Engila Saidy and had a great time (trying not to talk about work too much!) 😁 We hope you’re all enjoying end-of-year celebrations with your team too! ☺ #pharmaceuticalindustry #businessowner #teamwork

  • The British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA) has released a report on UK medicine shortages, highlighting that shortages have doubled in the past two years. 💊💊 Additionally, nearly half of adults experienced shortages or delays in prescriptions. 😧 The report includes some key recommendations to address the issue: - Improving hospital tender processes - Reviewing pharmacy reimbursement funding - Encouraging domestic manufacturing - Allowing more pharmacy substitutions - Streamlining approval for supply chain changes The BGMA calls for collaboration between government, NHS, and industry to ensure patients can access treatments in a more timely way. We can best support generics manufacturers by: ✅ Real-time supply chain monitoring: Offering tools that provide real-time tracking of supply and demand, enabling manufacturers to quickly detect potential shortages ✅ Predictive analytics: Using historical and external data to forecast shortages and market shifts, allowing manufacturers to take proactive action ✅ Dynamic pricing and market insights: Providing advanced pricing models and competitor insights to help manufacturers adjust strategies quickly and remain competitive during shortages ✅ Regulatory data integration: Ensuring compliance with NHS regulations by aligning product portfolios with changing drug tariff prices and shortages. By delivering these solutions, we can help generics manufacturers respond to shortages more effectively and maintain a steady supply of affordable medicines. #pharmaceuticalindustry #pharmaceuticals #dataanalytics #healthcareinnovation

  • What is the DM+D? 🤔 The Dictionary of Medicines and Devices (DM+D) is a comprehensive database the NHS uses to standardise the identification and description of medicines and medical devices. It contains unique identifiers, product information, ingredients, dosage forms, and pricing data, including codes like GTINs and drug tariff prices. For generics manufacturers, the DM+D provides critical insights into: ☑ Market positioning: access to standardised drug codes, prices, and formulation details helps generics align with NHS requirements. ☑ Competitive pricing: drug tariff prices allow manufacturers to adjust their pricing strategies to stay competitive while ensuring reimbursement. ☑ Regulatory compliance: adhering to the DM+D ensures easier product listing and smoother integration into NHS prescribing and supply chains. 💥 The DM+D tracker and browser within Pharmly Analytics make finding and monitoring activity much simpler. 💥 It offers comprehensive insights into the UK pharmaceutical market, enabling users to monitor new product registrations and gather competitor intelligence effectively. By leveraging DM+D data, generics manufacturers can improve market entry, pricing strategy, and regulatory alignment. Key functionalities include: ☑ Advanced search capabilities: perform detailed searches to identify newly registered products so that you’re quickly aware of market entrants. ☑ Competitor analysis: examine competitor activities, including product launches and updates, aiding in strategic planning and market positioning. ☑ Market opportunity identification: analyse DM+D data to uncover potential opportunities for portfolio expansion and optimisation. These features collectively support our clients in staying informed about market dynamics and making data-driven decisions to enhance their competitive edge. Want to know more? • Time flies! ✈ It’s been six months already since Engila Saidy joined our team. Since joining, Engila has brought fresh energy, new ideas, and her impressive machine-learning skills to the team ✨. She’s been working on some stunning updates across Pharmly Analytics and Pharmly Secondary Care, and is heavily involved in a top-secret new product 🤫. We asked her what she’s enjoyed most so far and what she’s excited about next: “I really enjoy brainstorming and testing ideas with Greg. It’s also really rewarding speaking to clients about issues they’re facing and helping to solve them by improving the functionality of our apps. I’ve already learnt so much about the technical skills involved in app building, APIs and automation! Working for a small business means you’re involved in a bit of everything, which is great. We’ve also had fun celebrating team wins, company socials and our book club. I’m looking forward to my next six months and beyond, when we’ll be launching some exciting new products and expanding the Analytic Health team!” It’s so great to have you on our team Engila! Here’s to exciting times ahead 😎 #teamwork #smallbusiness #pharma #machinelearning

  • "Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.” As part of our book club this month, we’ve been reading “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. There’s a reason why it’s a million-copy bestseller! 📚 💥 In the book, he talks about the compound effect of hundreds of small, incremental changes in our daily habits, which can lead to great results. These “atomic habits” can lead to significant personal and professional growth. In it, he shares four laws of behaviour change, which we are starting to implement here at Analytic Health: 1. Make it obvious 2. Make it attractive 3. Make it easy 4. Make it satisfying. We’re starting to use the rules in our personal lives and address our time spent on activities more intentionally. This involves replacing habits we find unfulfilling with those we enjoy. We’ve made a list of what those are and we’re going to track how we’re getting along with it as part of the reading group. #AtomicHabits #ProductivityTips #PersonalDevelopment
