That’s right … it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for … it’s our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. unwrapped 2024! As pioneers in med comms, we built 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. in 2016, the first entry-level learning and development programme in the industry. Eight years and over 500 people later, it’s fair to say that 2024 has been another HISTORIC year for the 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. team at Inizio Medical! With so many new people through our global, entry-level 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. programmes and countless 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. alumni now at senior-level positions across Scientific and Client Services, we’re incredibly proud to have seen everyone flourish as our business continues to grow and expand 🥳 This wouldn’t have been possible without experienced staff from across our business, who have helped to train and coach our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. colleagues. Inizio Medical encompasses three world-leading med comms agencies, meaning that we are able to draw from a diverse network of talented experts for people to work with and learn from – we speak for the entire 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. community when we say that your support has been truly invaluable 👏 But it doesn’t just start when people join us … as part of our collaborations with numerous universities and our post-doc initiatives, we’re honoured to have organised multiple recruitment events over the last 12 months and to have provided coaching to our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. applicants across the UK. Whether attending a university career fair or delivering courses for a med comms masterclass, it's been a real privilege speaking to aspiring med comms professionals to support them in reaching their career goals and finding their perfect role! It’s our last highlight reel of 2024 😢 and this time, we’re hearing from our first 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 cohort recruited across Inizio Medical…our Associate Account Executives did not disappoint!   After joining the business in January 2024 (is it just us, or does that feel like 5 minutes ago?!), they received dedicated training on aspects from finance and project management to pitching and presentation skills, alongside completing account work, before working fully in their teams. For our next 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. highlight reel of 2024, we’re staying in the UK but moving back into the world of medical writing ✍ After a highly competitive 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘 recruitment process, 26 aspiring Medical Writers entered our Macclesfield office on a sunny day in July … and what a brilliant bunch they’ve proven to be! Six weeks of core training saw us delve into the key qualities of our medical writing team at Inizio Medical – from project managers to scientific storytellers, and from team players to creatives, our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘 cohort tackled it all. Now, over half-way through their first rotation, they’ve already brought huge value to their teams and clients. From our first 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. cohort of 2024 … to our most recent 🙌 Today, we’re jetting from South Africa to the UK and into the world of Client Services, to celebrate our second 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 cohort at Inizio Medical! Picture the scene … it was September, summer was ending and rain was starting to fall from our increasingly grey skies … enter 24 budding Associate Account Executives to brighten things up ☀ From the get-go, they’ve brought enthusiasm and fresh perspectives to their account teams and clients, and it’s been a pleasure training and coaching them along the way! From finance to project management, and across publications and medical affairs, our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 cohort have left no stone unturned. But we’re not done yet – this week, we’ve welcomed them back to where it all began in our Macclesfield office. We are kicking off our December highlights, by celebrating the wonderful group of writers in South Africa that we welcomed through our 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼.𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘 programme back in January 🙌 This enthusiastic and talented group of people were our first 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼. cohort of 2024 and what a way it was to kick off the year. We started off strong, with onboarding, networking and in-person training across Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. Here we established great relationships, had a lot of fun and really set the tone for the rest of the training programme. Across the 7-week training period, we deep dived into the world of med comms. Through a mixture of training sessions, peer-to-peer learning and discussions, individual and group tasks, together we conquered everything from abstracts, posters and manuscripts to visually-appealing slide decks! As we move toward the end of the year, we are reflecting on how far our Associate Medical Writers in South Africa have come. Having now been in the business for almost a year, they are delivering exciting and impactful work to our clients every day and are adding real value to their teams – we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved and can’t wait to watch them to continue to develop in their careers at Inizio Medical!
