Words that have dominated the obesity narrative for too long. The idea that weight loss is simple…that obesity is a choice. Eli Lilly and Company UK & Ireland has developed a campaign to shift the conversation and reframe obesity. Being shamed for your weight can significantly affect a person’s health journey, with serious implications for both physical and mental health. We’re pleased to share this campaign and support the message that obesity is a disease, not a choice. Shame has no place in it.

The Podcast is co-hosted by myself, All About Obesity CIC founder Sarah Le Brocq and Simple Online Pharmacy’s COO, the fabulous Rebecca Moore. It promises to give voice to the hidden truths relating to weight management, weight perception, weight medication and the harmful stereotypes, narratives and behaviours that are at large, both in society and in our own heads. Alongside this our experts unlock the science and secrets to real and sustainable change.
