    Noticed this pencil image. It got me thinking about problems and opportunities. Had a minor setback this morning. Nothing major, just a small project hiccup. Usually, I'd get frustrated. Today, I tried a different approach. Took a step back. Breathed. Asked myself: "Is there a chance to improve here?" Turned out, there was. Found a more efficient way to tackle the task. It wasn't earth-shattering. Just a small win in an ordinary day. But it felt good. Like sharpening both ends of a broken pencil. Now I'm curious.     I'd like to share with you some self-coaching questions I've recently tried out. They're based on the ABCDE model from the mid-50's, which I've found helpful in my personal growth journey. The model (A=Activating event, B=Beliefs, C=Consequences, D=Disputing, E=Effective way) offers a structured approach to self-reflection. On the infographic some of the questions I found particularly insightful. 🚨 Activating Event: "What specific situation is causing me to feel unsettled?" 👉 This helped me pinpoint the exact triggers in my work environment. 🚨 Beliefs: "What am I telling myself about this situation?" 👉I uncovered some limiting beliefs I didn't even realize I had. 🚨 Consequences: "How are these thoughts affecting my behavior?" 👉This revealed patterns in my reactions that weren't serving me well. 🚨Disputing: "What evidence do I have that contradicts my initial thoughts?" 👉This question often led to interesting realizations and perspective shifts. 🚨 Effective Way: "What would be a more constructive way to view this situation?" 👉This steered me towards more positive, action-oriented thinking.
