We’re delighted to share with you the report from our recent Ofsted inspection conducted in December 2023, along with our 'Good' rating across all areas! During their inspection, the Ofsted team observed the nurturing and supportive atmosphere at ACL Essex, which has greatly contributed to the personal growth and resilience of learners. The lead inspector commented in her verbal feedback on the warm welcome that the inspection team had received from all staff when visiting centres. It was noted that we have created a comprehensive curriculum that caters to the needs of the local community and the learners themselves highly appreciate the inclusive and respectful environment that is fostered in our community. Learners in all areas understand the significance of treating others with dignity and respect. The report also highlights the development of online courses to provide more flexibility in studying, allowing learners to progress from non-accredited courses to accredited ones and apprenticeships. Furthermore, the inspection team acknowledged that our course and apprenticeship offer are aligned to effectively tackle local workforce shortages such as early years, and health & social care. It truly was a brilliant team effort, and the report serves as a testament to the incredible sense of belonging within our community. Having collected the donations from staff we were really pleased to be able to make up 3 lovely hampers which were distributed to Residential homes in the local area yesterday 🎄🎅 One of the recipients has kindly sent a picture and they commented they were over the moon with the hamper as it is the Christmas party for their residents on Friday and this will really help make it a lovely event. We plan on doing this again next year and are hoping to make this bigger and better so we can reach more local Residential homes. Thank you to everyone who donated and have a wonderful Christmas.
