David Fischer Let me be honest with you: there's some stuff I prefer to do the old ways - for example buying an album because it looks cool and taking the risk of the music being shitty. I did that with Foundations, but - relief! - it is good. In fact, the mixture of the implemented styles even works remarkably well. Bluegrass, doom, folk, and atmospheric black metal? Makes no sense to me at all, but sounds absolutely gorgeous. Something about it makes me want to wander through Appalachian wilds, alone. Favorite track: West Virginia Mine Disaster.

Tanker82 The combo of atmospheric black metal, folk/bluegrass, and doom is very unique. The best comparison I can make is this: imagine None got lost on tour in Appalachia and decided to stay and learn the banjo. Amazing album by an amazing band.

muzicpainter Damn am I excited for this release. I loved Twilight Fauna’s last album, but in just listening to the two available tracks on this new record it sounds like this band is really setting into their unique sound. The price of the album is worth the song Tavern Hill alone. I am beyond excited for this. It is masterful work. Favorite track: Tavern Hill.
