You, I hope, have never seen a wedding crashed like this before!

Fire Country showrunner Tia Napolitano told TVLine as part of our upcoming Fall Preview package that when Season 3 arrives on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9/8c, “Everyone’s going to get all of the answers they were itching for at the end of Season 2” — including whether Gabriela (played by Stephanie Arcila) actually will actually exchange vows with Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) after 1) Bode (series co-creator Max Thieriot) nearly interrupted their wedding and 2) the father of the bride, Manny, was hauled away by the sheriff’s department.

“We do a direct pick-up” from the closing moments of Season 2, Napolitano previewed. “So you’ll get answers fast.”

But a third, unplanned factor promises to throw a hitch at the hitching when a helicopter rudely shows up uninvited, as shown in the Season 3 trailer below.

Bode — who since being released from prison has run into obstacles in becoming a proper firefighter — is among those seen rushing to the crash scene. Will this crisis only further ignite his professional passion?

“The interesting thing for Bode is choosing just one thing” to focus on as a free man, “because he is so ambitious,” said Napolitano. “Is it going to be firefighting? is his personal life a distraction? The umbrella for all of that is his goal to live up to his legacy.”
