In the latest TV show ratings, CBS’ Blue Bloods was Friday’s most-watched program, while Fire Country ranked No. 2 in the demo behind college football on Fox.
CBS | S.W.A.T.‘s season-that-almost-wasn’t opened with 4.1 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating, down a tick on both counts from its previous averages. Fire Country fired up Season 3 with 4.6 mil and a 0.4, exactly matching its sophomore numbers; TVLine readers gave the killer helicopter episode an average grade of “B.” Blue Bloods kicked off its very final run with 5 mil/0.3, down a few eyeballs from its springtime Farewell Run, Part 1.
FOX | College football coverage averaged 2.2 mil and a 0.5.
NBC | Happy’s Place debuted to 4 mil and a 0.4, markedly higher than the averages for NBC’s previous freshman sitcom, Extended Family (which did 2.6 mil and a 0.3 on Tuesdays); readers gave Reba’s sitcom return an average grade of “B,” with 87% planning to stay tuned. Lopez vs. Lopez led out of that with 2.1 mil and a 0.3, up in audience from its sophomore run.
ABC | Shark Tank returned to 2.3 mil/0.2, down from its previous averages.
THE CW | Joan hit a new audience low (176K).

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine’s daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution
Good start for Happy’s Place, hope it can hold steady and be renewed. Cute show.
Lopez vs Lopez definitely needs to stay steady or grow to stay out of the cancellation bubble but I think it show be fine as long as it doesn’t drop from here.
I am a devoted Blue Bloods fan. I would watch it 24/7 if I could. Nothing like it can hold my interest Tom Selleck and Donny are true icons. The entire cast are fabulous.
CBS apparently made the right choice canceling Blue Bloods, right🤔 Let’s cancel a 14 year show that still wins its time slot and has a devoted following! Smart move.
Fox did the same with 911
It’s way too expensive that’s why it’s being cancelled. CBS absolutely couldn’t find ways to make it cheaper.
Why end??? when Blue Bloods going from strength to strength. There is no other programme to top it!!! 😭😢😞 CBS making a big mistake. Seems more like a vendetta on a perfectly good show!!! Shame on you.
Fox literally cancelled 911 despite it being the highest watched show so cbs is not the only station to get rid of high rated shows
Back to CBS when Blue Blue Bloods returns for full season. Or see ya.
That blue bloods episode was the worst episode I have ever
i could not stop laughing while Gabriella was putting off fires in her flamable wedding dress and VEIL. Who the hell is writing this stupidity?
If Blue Bloods has such a great audience, why aren’t the advertisers willing to pony up to keep it going if it’s supposedly too expensive to produce? CBS has made some pretty bad decisions in recent history, canceling Blue Bloods is just one.
