This holiday season, the ANSA McAL Group of Companies in Barbados came together to bring joy to children impacted by cancer. Employees from Trident Insurance, ANSA Merchant Bank, Standard Distributors, Bryden Stokes Ltd, Berger Paints, Brydens Xpress and Retail, ANSA Motors, and Head Office joined forces to shop, wrap, and donate 37 thoughtful gifts for children diagnosed with cancer, their siblings, and those who have lost a parent to the disease. With the support of The Barbados Cancer Society, the team ensured each gift matched the child’s age and gender, spreading love to families in need. These gifts were presented at a special Christmas party on December 8th, where Santa himself will bring smiles to these children’s faces. #ANSAGroup #ANSAMcALBarbados 

On Friday, December 6th, we wrapped up another amazing year the best way we know how—by coming together! Teams from Head Office, TATIL, TATIL LIFE, COLFIRE, ANSA Merchant Bank, and ANSA Bank joined forces for our highly anticipated annual Christmas Dinner and Party. An evening filled with delicious food, unforgettable performances by Marie Carter, Lyrikal, and Patrice Roberts, and the perfect playlist from our DJs kept the dance floor buzzing all night! Adding to the magic, our hosts Frances Bain-Cumberbatch, Chief Legal and External Affairs Officer, and Andre Jeffers, Chief Strategy Officer, brought laughter and energy. These moments aren’t just about the celebrations—they’re about the connections. They remind us of the incredible team spirit that fuels everything we achieve together. Kicking off our first highlight in the ANSA McAL Foundation video series is the inspiring Steelpan Program at St. Margaret’s Boys’ Anglican School. Since its start in 2002, this program has shaped young musicians and led the school to an incredible 12 Junior Panorama wins! Thanks to the Foundation’s support of funding pan tuning, uniforms, transportation, and more this program continues to thrive, giving students the tools to excel both on and off the stage. In a recent visit to the ABEL Clay Quarry, Christian Llanos, Sector Head of ANSA McAL Construction Sector, shared insights into our commitment to rehabilitating the land we’ve utilized. He highlighted the use of food crops and native species to restore biodiversity, protect soil, and reduce water runoff. Michelle Mungal, Marketing Manager at ABEL Building Solutions, reflected on the journey of this project since 2013, emphasizing the unwavering support from employees, stakeholders, and local communities in making this initiative a lasting success.
