Introduction to Kubernetes (LFS158)

After having worked in a Kubernetes cluster environment in the cloud (AWS), this training has closed many gaps I had when working with the clusters.

I liked playing around with this new knowledge in my private workspace. Working with ingress especially was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the video demonstrations, they really helped if I got stuck somewhere and wasn't able to get back on track.

It provided a thorough introduction to Kubernetes, covering essential topics like deployments, services, and storage solutions, as well as more advanced features like Helm and ingress controllers. The practical exercises and real-world examples were particularly helpful in reinforcing the concepts. The course's comprehensive approach and clear explanations ensured a solid understanding of Kubernetes.

Compared to other courses and online resources, this was the best course to get a grip on the Kubernetes object structure. After this clicked, I felt like "now I got it."

Great basic introduction to Kubernetes. Having exposure at an enterprise level, but not having actually deployed and interacted with it via kubectl nearly as much as I did during this course, was a great foundation for learning the platform.

I liked the UI, content breakdown and organization. I never felt overwhelmed. It seems like the information was presented at a good pace, and in adequate order. Pictures and diagrams are always good!

I like that it is really an introductory course to Kubernetes.

The level and depth of the course was perfect for an introduction course.

The course doesn't just cover basics, but also a brief about the advanced topics. It really helps to see what else is there. The training demo videos were another great thing.

I appreciated the comprehensive coverage of Kubernetes, from basic concepts to more advanced topics like high availability, security practices, and various installation tools. The hands-on labs and real-world examples helped solidify my understanding, and allowed me to directly apply what I learned. Additionally, the instructor's expertise and the well-structured course material made complex topics accessible and engaging.

I really enjoyed the instructional videos, as they allowed me to have a deeper understanding of what I was supposed to be doing.

A good introduction to all the different building blocks of Kubernetes.

I strongly recommend this course. It's very good content, prepared in a simple and consistent way.

It was the best introduction to Kubernetes that I've seen. Most of the "Kubernetes Tutorials" out there start with "Here's how to install K8S on whatever", but don't answer "Why Kubernetes". This course answered beautifully.

The direct approach to topics and practical complements each other with highly efficient laboratories.

The material is easy to understand, and videos are quite helpful for a beginner like me.
