 iOS Tip: 🚀 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 🚀 Swift's type inference is a powerful feature that allows the compiler to predict the type of a variable based on its assigned value. For instance, assigning 2.0 to a variable lets the compiler intuitively recognize it as a Double. 1- 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Swift's compiler can automatically detect types like floats from values like 2.0. 2- 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 Types: When using functions like reduce without explicit types, the compiler needs to work out the type from the function's output, which can be time-consuming. 3- 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: Complex type inferences, especially from generic functions, increase compilation time. 🔎 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Always specify types explicitly in complex expressions to reduce build times and improve code clarity. #ios #iosdevelopment #swift #iosdeveloper #swiftUI

Knowing the Difference Between Guard Let and If Let in Swift and Knowing When to Use Each? if let Scope: If an optional has a value, it safely unwraps it. How it operates: assigns the value of the optional to a new constant inside the block after determining whether it contains a value. Put to Use: If the unwrapped value is present, use it to continue with its unwrapping. Example:- var optionalString: String? = "Hello LinkedIn" if let unwrappedString = optionalString {   print(unwrappedString) // prints "Hello LinkedIn" } else {   print("optionalString was nil") } guard let Scope: If the value is zero, the optional is safely unwrapped and an early departure is permitted. How it operates: Assigns the optional to a new constant after determining whether it has a value, then moves on. The else block is executed (typically to exit the function) if nil. Put to Use: When you want to be sure the optional has a value before moving on, use this and end the process early if it doesn't. Here are some useful functions that are available on types that conform to the SignedNumeric protocol which means We can use them with Int, Float, Double etc: 1.negate(): 🔃 The negate() function is used to invert the sign of a number.
