The 15th General Assembly of the Asian Seismological Commission (ASC2024) began yesterday in Belek, Antalya, and will continue until 7th of November.   T-Rupt is honoured to join experts worldwide to explore critical topics in catastrophic events.   As a sponsor, we will also be hosting a specialized session on "Advances in Earthquake Loss Modelling: From Hazard to Risk."   This session, led by T-Rupt’s chief modeler Prof. Dr. Sinan Akkar, will dive into key topics such as spatial correlation and its impact on aggregate loss estimation. His talk will emphasize how this correlation enhances regional loss models, benefiting the (re)insurance sector and state-level decision-makers.
