| Action Summary | This regulatory action is proposed in order to amend and reissue the existing general permit which expires on March 1, 2018. The general permit regulation governs point source discharges of 50,000 gallons per day or less of non-contact cooling water and cooling equipment blow down to surface waters. This regulatory action is needed in order for existing facilities to be covered under this general permit regulation In addition, a periodic/small business impact review of this regulation will be conducted as part of this regulatory action.
