Goals of Regulation |
1. The protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare with the least possible cost and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.
2. The ensuring that the consumers purchasing a ground beef product are offered a product that contains no more than the maximum allowable fat content.
3. The ensuring that ground beef products marketed in Virginia are accurately represented to the consumer.
