Robert Fechter, MS, MBA, CLP, RTTP is director of information technology and physical sciences technology transfer where he is responsible for technology transfer in the areas of medical devices, digital health, engineering, information technology and physical sciences. He has licensed a wide range of NYU technologies to numerous companies and startups in areas including AI, bioinformatics, e-commerce, nanotechnology, and healthcare. He started his career at Bell Laboratories as a member of technical staff and subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility at Bell Laboratories, as well as at AT&T and Lucent Technologies in R&D, manufacturing, product management, and global business development.
