An Evening with The Pleasure Boyz marks the debut release from London duo The Pleasure Boyz, a collaboration years in the making between borderlandstate (Exit Records) and Coen (Maloca). Forged in the dead of night at a particularly explosive edition of Houghton festival, the two long-time friends were brought together by a mutual love of borderline piss-take music. It's fast bangers only.

First up is Daddichill, which introduces the pair’s rocket-fuelled beats crafted to take a rave to the boiling point. A deranged arpeggio loop bubbles and mutates underneath slamming, gnarly kicks whilst a vocal loop repeats

ASMR Death Bed goes for an even harder approach, utilising a grotesque sound palette whilst jacking up the dancefloor energy as high as possible. Bitcrushed voices howl amongst jackhammer kicks and a frenetic bassline pushing the track forward at full throttle.

An Evening with The Pleasure Boyz is not for everyone. As one of them once said, “I’ve got no idea who will play this, but I would love to see the set where someone does".
