This four-song EP features a new recording of one of our classic songs backed with remixes by John Whitlock (Half Human) and Jonah Matranga (Far, onelinedrawing) and a reinterpretation by James.
We recorded a new version of Shadowing Lull that better reflects the song's transformation over the years since its original release on New Mexico EP (2010) and hints at the continuing evolution of our sound. James' reinterpretation of the song is a mind-bending aural experience unlike anything we've released to date. It was also an immense pleasure working with John and Jonah on the remixes. Both artists reshaped Shadowing Lull in ways we'd never considered and we know you'll enjoy the results as much as we do.
We partnered with our friend Tim Gerak at Mammoth Cave Recording Studio who helped us mix and master the EP. Tim's played a vital role in our previous releases and we're happy to have him back on the controls for this release.
The creation of this EP spread out over several years as we navigated a lineup change and emerged from a period of relative inactivity. We're all very excited to get this recording out and are looking forward to hearing what you think.
Thanks for listening!
