The positions are part-time positions filled each semester on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities include providing tutorial assistance for courses.
Program-level coursework with a grade B or better in the field being tutored or other relevant experience required.

Successful completion of NCLEX-RN with licensure being current.
If not currently working as a registered nurse must have past employment as a registered nurse for at least 12 months.
Must have a willingness to meet with both small groups and individuals requiring tutoring.
Must have an understanding of nursing math equations/dosage calculation.
Tutoring skill-set must include nursing skills, fundamentals, medical surgical, pediatrics, maternity, mental health, and pharmacology.
Need to have an understanding of NCLEX style questions including multiple choice, select all that apply and hot spot.
Need to have an understanding of nursing process and care planning.
