Prepare lesson plans and classroom materials in advance of scheduled classes and turn in weekly lesson plans to the school office the first day of the week.
13.
Provide client supervision in non-teaching duties and extracurricular activities as assigned by the Principal.
14.
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date electronic grade book regarding the progress of each student including the recording and reporting of daily attendance in a timely fashion.
15.
Function as an active participant of a Unit Treatment Team, providing the necessary academic background and school information on each client to help the team in planning treatment.
16.
Implement and maintain the school discipline policy, in accordance with the behavior program, and refer serious or repeated disciplinary problems to the appropriate chain of command.
17.
Serve on departmental and institutional committees assigned by the administration.
18.
Request classroom supplies and materials through the educational administration for approval.
19.
Review emergency procedures with the clients on a semester basis and supervise during drills.
20.
Organize and request field trips and guest speakers on a semester basis.
21.
Incorporate state academic standards into the written curriculum, lesson planning and instruction.
22.
Complete weekly TPRs accurately on assigned students by tracking appropriate data.
23.
Accurately complete incident paperwork on a daily basis and have a working knowledge of CI definitions.
24.
Report to designated staff progress made towards IEP/ISP goals as requested in a timely manner.
25.
Take regular inventory of own emotional well-being.
Develop and adhere to a self-care plan to promote wellness and prevent burnout.
26.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
