Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties take place at or around the Eugene V.
Debs Museum at 451 N 8th St, Terre Haute, IN 47807: Cultivate working knowledge of Eugene Debs and related historical and contemporary topics (materials provided) Develop and lead engaging museum tours for groups and individuals Assist museum store patrons and operate point-of-sale system Assist with processing and shipping museum store e-commerce orders Assist with museum store inventory Develop and distribute promotional materials for museum programs Assist with program logistics (i.
e.
equipment setup, refreshments, greeting guests) during and outside of regular museum hours Assist with light housekeeping and grounds maintenance Compile and organize visitor data Compile and organize museum collection data Run errands on campus Assist with additional administrative and curatorial tasks as assigned Career Readiness Competencies o Critical Thinking/Problem Solving: Exercise sound reasoning to analyze issues, make decisions, and overcome problems.
