POSITION SUMMARY
Serve as an unpaid volunteer assistant coach of the men's lacrosse program, operating under NCAA bylaws.
The Volunteer Assistant Coach will work with the head coach to develop a positive, competitive, and energetic experience for student-athletes on the team.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Assist head coach in various duties as directed.
Provide guidance and assistance to student-athletes as required.
Assist with practice sessions and game competitions, ensuring all appropriate safety guidelines and standards are maintained.
Comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the Coaches Handbook.
This individual is expected to support and maintain the rules applied by the Head Coach and the Athletic Director.

Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Experience as a coach or athlete playing the game of lacrosse.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Google Apps, other programs as determined by specific sport responsibilities.
Web based communication tools (i.
e.
FrontRush, Hudl).
Certificates & Licenses: A valid US driver's license is required.
Certification in first aid, CPR and AED preferred.

Must be able to work closely with the head men's lacrosse coach, student-athletes and DePauw University community
