Adjunct Instructor Theatre

Description: Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is seeking student centered individuals with a passion for teaching to add to our adjunct pool.
Selected candidates will teach courses in theatre and/or direct fall and spring theatre productions.
Courses are 16 weeks.
Hybrid and Online sections will be offered based on demand.
Candidates from the adjunct pool may select from the courses listed below based on their interest and professional experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with course development and industry experience.

Courses and positions available include: TA 213 Essential Job Responsibilities: Availability to teach on campus course during daytime or evening hours.
Create, revise, update all courses using Canvas (LMS).
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in using computer technology including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Requirements: Master’s degree in theatre or a related field.
Experience with course development preferred but not required.
Experience using a learning management system such as Brightspace D2L, Canvas blackboard, or Moodle.
Demonstrated experience incorporating technology in instructional practices.
