Description:
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track position within the Education Department to begin in August 2024.
Responsibilities include a 24-credit hour teaching load of undergraduate courses in education with an emphasis on early childhood curriculum.
Teaching responsibilities are for early childhood or elementary and include courses in undergraduate education, campus and on-line formats, and post-baccalaureate licensure program.
Candidate must work well with traditional and adult learners and enjoy the on-line learning environment.
Besides teaching, the position includes faculty mentoring, clinical supervision, and committee participation.

Requirements:
Requirements include a Ph.
D.
or Ed.
D.
(ABD considered, terminal degree required before tenure) and experience as a certified teacher with at least three years of early childhood experience.
Preferred qualifications include successful college teaching experience in both traditional campus and online environments, and experience in curriculum development, field supervision, and accreditation preparation in addition to strong technology and communication skills.
Salary and rank will be based upon relevant qualifications and experience.
