ROLE SUMMARY FLUENT Cannabis is looking for a Sales Training Supervisor.
The position supports the Associate Director of Sales in the creation and implementation of sales training programs that support an effective and motivated Retail Operations sales force.
The position reports directly to the Associate Director of Sales, assessing training needs and developing sales training programs focused on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to maximize dispensary revenue potential.
This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of the Florida cannabis industry, FLUENT products, services, patients, competitors, and sales techniques.
Additionally, a successful candidate will have experience creating and delivering dynamic content that inspires our retail staff and increases their product knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement in-store and virtual sales training programs for use by the sales force (dispensary curators and call center personnel) to increase sales revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing patient engagement.
Deploy weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales training programs supporting the sales force.
Design and implement follow-up and ongoing sales training tools as needed to support and improve the sales training program.
Create new product training materials, including manuals, video demonstrations, FAQs, and scripts for retail team members.
Collaborate with retail and marketing leadership to ensure brand alignment on all training.

QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in sales, developing sales training tools and working with sales teams Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Effective verbal and written communication skills using proper etiquette Detail-oriented and highly organized Able to multitask, prioritize, exhibit initiative, and work independently as well as within a team Flexibility and willingness to be available during non-traditional hours is required Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook Proficient in data management and analysis Proficient in customer resource management software systems REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 2 - 5 years of previous experience in a role focused on sales, sales force training, and business development in diverse and dynamic environments.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in business or related fields Sales-related position within the cannabis industry ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check Must pass a drug screening Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
The company will ask you to help in other departments depending on company needs.

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This position regularly requires long hours and may frequently work weekends.
TRAVEL Travel is up to 50%, monthly out-of-the-area, and overnight travel may be expected.
