Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 6:00am-6:00pm
*We have TWO full time infant opening as of February 1st, 2024 (for families receiving DSHS subsidies) and ONE full time opening on February 1st, 2024 (for families self paying for care).
Spots will be filled on first come, first serve basis.

Our infant center has an opening for ages 1 month- 11 months.
(our infant room serves children up to 12 months of age)
Our infant center provides a safe, quiet, comfortable, stimulating and sanitary place for infants with coordination from the infant parent.
The unique placement of the infant area to the center is that parents go directly to the infant area and not through an area where children that might have cold or illnesses.
During warm weather the infants have a fenced, developmentally appropriate play yard located directly outside their door.
We also have a stroller so the infants can enjoy a stroll around the grounds on nice days! The physical need of the children are the first concern of the staff; the diapering, feeding and sleep patterns for each infant.
Infants need lots of personal attention and holding.
The verbal interaction and nurturing with each child by staff will be of equal concern.
We provide everything your child will need! We just need extra clothes for your child.
*We use sleep sacks for infants while sleeping.
This supports the Health Department standards in reducing the risk for SIDS.
Infants are ALWAYS on their backs to sleep.
*We are on the infant/child USDA food program- Formula (Kirkland brand) meals and snacks are all provided.
USDA approved.
Monthly meal cycle.
Cook on site!
* Diapers, wipes, bottles, bibs, burp cloths, sippy cups, feeding items are also all included.
We are a breast milk and cloth diaper friendly facility.
We have long term, nurturing and qualified staff.
Our infants have their own classroom.
Our ratio is 4:1= 4 infants to one teacher or 3:1= 3 infants to one teacher (depending on group sizing) Our maximum group is 9 infants and three teachers.
Each infant has their own designated crib.
We supply a variety of developmentally appropriate toys to help develop small and large motor/muscle skills.
The floor is carpeted with soft carpet so the infant's can have comfortable tummy time and explore the room.
The staff meet each child individual needs when it comes to their schedule.
The staff rock the infants to sleep in one of our rocking chairs in the classroom.
Our infant room is a "No Shoe Zone".
We are affiliated with Clover Park Technical College and all of our staff having on going training in Early Childhood Education.
Our staff are CPR/ 1st aid, HIV/AID, Blood Borne Pathogens and Food Handlers certified.
They also are background checked through DEL and TB tested.
All of our infant staff take the Safe Sleep Training through DEL.
We are contracted with Pierce County Health Department and have a health nurse come out monthly to check on the infants in our care and to make sure everything is up to date and new information is given to the teachers to insure a healthy environment.
We are also now a blended full day/full year early head start program contracted with Puget Sound Education Service District.
We have spots available for children 1 month- 3 years of age who income qualify.
We are currently working with the Early Achievers (Child Care Aware/Department of Licensing), going through the process of being rated! (each individual center who chooses to participate will be observed and rated based on the quality of the program, staff and center.
)
We also provide care at the same location for ages 1 year- 12 years.
If you have multiple children why not bring them all to the same location!!
