WHAT YOU’LL DO
Clean and sanitizes Microbiology areas and related equipment.
Operates specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, autoclave, etc.
to perform functions of the job
Prevent cross contamination during sanitation procedures in the lab
Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.
Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval.
Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention.
Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.
Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.
Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, foamers, cleaning equipment and tools.
Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
Keeps the cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized.
May be asked to work in other areas as needed; if trained.
