What is Quickoffice?

We are no longer making Quickoffice available for download. To work with Microsoft® Office files, install the newest versions of the DocsSheets, and Slides apps from Google Play on your Android phone or tablet, or the Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad. Learn more about editing Office files in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Quickoffice is an application available for iOS and Android tablets and phones that lets you view, create, and edit Microsoft Office, as well as view and annotate PDF files. Connect Google Drive to Quickoffice for cloud storage so that you can easily access and edit files from your tablet, phone, or computer and know that your files are always up-to-date. To access files when you're offline, store files in your Google Drive account, where you can set a file to be viewable offline on both Android and iOS devices when you have no internet connectivity.

As of September 19, 2013, Quickoffice has released a free and universal app for all Android and iOS devices, accessible to users with a Google Account. As with previous versions of the app, you can open and edit Microsoft Office files and store these files in Google Drive.

Existing Quickoffice Pro and Pro HD users can continue to use their current apps but are encouraged to upgrade to the new universal app to take advantage of new features and upgrades to the product. Check out important changes for existing Quickoffice Pro and Pro HD users.
