Allow admin to migrate your Gmail messages

Your organization's administrator has requested permission to connect to your Gmail account so that they can migrate your email messages to a new Google Workspace account.

If you authorize the process, the administrator can only migrate your messages. They aren't able to read, delete, or alter the messages.

Authorize the connection to your Gmail account

  1. In the authorization request email message, click View authorization request.
  2. Click Authorize.

If you don't want to authorize, click Deny, and your admin won't have permission to connect to your Gmail account.

  3. Review the conditions of access and click Continue.

The admin now has permission to transfer your Gmail messages. If you change your mind, click Deny.
