Preparing for your upcoming year of study

We know that there's a lot to think about when you're doing a research degree. As you move into the next phase of your studies, we want you to think about your priorities, your training and development needs, and any support you may need.  

Your journey from transfer to submission involves the majority of your research as well as writing up your work. 

The ‘Preparing for your upcoming year of study’ module will cover the progression requirements for the remainder of your candidature, through to completing your thesis. We will also remind you about the support and opportunities available from services across the university.
