London-based producer Steven Julien has announced a new EP Wraap’t out on 13th September via Apron Records. He also released the titular single of the same name featuring the lush vocals of Swedish soul singer Fatima.

Scene stalwart known for his eclectic taste from music to fashion, Steven Julien (fka Funkineven) has an impressive discography behind him, with a decade of releases that chart the terrains of classic house cuts, soul, boogie and techno. One of London’s finest electronic producers, Julien’s 2018 album Bloodline was described as “captivating” by Crack Magazine, and his debut album Fallen was hailed as “one of best releases of 2016” by FACT magazine. He has soundtracked fashion shows for Patta and Milan Fashion Week, collaborated on films with Steve McQueen and installations at the Brooklyn Museum with Mos Def. Julien also runs the renowned label Apron Records, with an ever-growing roster including Brassfoot, Greg Beato and Lord Tusk.
