DDA Direct Support Professional

org As a Direct Support Professional, you will work on-site in a residential setting with children.
These professionals will be responsible for: * Supporting the clients in their goal achievement and efforts * Supporting the clients with ADL’s as needed * Working in a team approach with identified members of support for each client * Providing excellent communication with each client and your Source team * Distributing medications properly and timely * Completing paperwork accurately and timely * Maintaining a safe and healthy environment of care * Providing transportation to and from appointments and outings * Adhering to Policy and Procedure of the Source of Spokane * Adhere to the specifications of a Mandated Reporter of Washington State * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High school Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required) * Must be 21 years of age at the time of application * Must be available to work one weekend day * Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in a childcare setting * Must have a valid Driver’s License * Must have valid car insurance * Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds of unbalanced weight * The ability to maneuver up and down stairs in a timely manner * Have the skill and ability to work successfully with the special needs of clients in our care Starting pay rate is $20.
64/hr.
There will be a 90-day probation period and a potential raise to $21.
