MetalMinder Savage. Soulmass sets aside the doom trappings entirely and entirely embraces their vicious and melodic death metal stylings. The vocals are tremendous, and the guitars are biting and modern without feeling overly polished. I'm unfamiliar with the lyrical theme's source material, but the lyrics are written in a way that can also apply to real-life personal / emotional situations. Decaying Form's lyrics in particular are painfully relatable for anybody who has felt out of place in their own body. Favorite track: Decaying Form.

Grey Brutal and beautiful release from Soulmass. The lyrics and the music both really capture the vibes of Signalis well, exploring the game’s themes of depersonalization, loss of humanity, and the eldritch current running underneath. Exquisite stuff! Favorite track: Decaying Form.
