Not everyone can just call themselves a coach, and that’s why ICF exists. ICF sets professional standards, certifies coaches, and promotes continuous learning. It enhances the profession's credibility to ensure coaching is effective and respected. Aside from that, a great coach is empathetic, communicative, patient, supportive, and trustworthy. Shifting from a Trainer to a Learning Facilitator The role of Learning Facilitator has instilled in me the importance of empowering others to develop their skills and knowledge. Although there are many approaches to developing competencies, the beauty lies in adapting our approach to the context. While all methods equip individuals, Process Facilitation methods and tools used in a learning environment unleash the wisdom of the learners. This process allows the participants to share their experiences and insights. It's about creating an easy, empowering, and engaging learning environment. The session design also pays attention to the learning preferences and styles of individuals. This experience reinforced the power of facilitating, not just teaching. It's a continuous learning journey, one where we all learn and grow together.
