Our partner Slavomír Krafčík from Shifra SK created a SmartSuite solution to show how they incorporated SmartSuite, Make, and ChatGPT for applicant tracking. Check out this very cool application of three powerful tools: In the process of expanding our team, we faced the challenge of how to efficiently process and store many CVs of applicants without unnecessary data rewriting. Our solution became ChatGPT in combination with the no-code platform SmartSuite. ChatGPT allows us to automatically read data from uploaded CVs and save them directly to the system. This approach not only saved us time, but also increased data accuracy by eliminating potential manual entry errors. #nocode #DigitalTransformation #automation

Do you understand your value to your customer? What are you worth to them? When you think about what your value is to a customer, you can find it in different aspects of a business. Take Aleksandar Ginovski of Enhancv for instance. I'm thrilled that we could get him to a place where he could say: "Paddle has definitely contributed to our growth.” Reading customer feedback like this is what it's all about, isn't it? To begin with the success metrics are obvious. Since implementing Paddle they are seeing 86% payment acceptance and have witnessed increased conversions because local currencies and other check-out streamlining just makes it easier to drive sales. But there's more to value than that: "We don't need to think about taxation matters at all. That's beneficial because we can focus on our business." By offloading admin headaches like sales tax, chargebacks, fraud protection, etc, moving to Paddle has meant the freedom to focus on growth and innovation. That focus can really mean the space to turbo-charge revenue - in their case by 200%. Innovation and product development are key and being liberated from their admin pain has meant a new and powerful AI feature, expansion into more markets and... "We are looking to launch a new product. We can’t reveal too much about it yet, but we know Paddle will be integral to a successful go-to-market strategy.” Stories like this make everything else worthwhile. I can't wait to see the new product.

Back in January I wrote an essay for Startup Hungary 's Hungarian Startup Report 2023. It's about how sales must change in 2024. Think it holds up? The way B2B buyers make decisions has changed since 2022 and SaaS Sales as we know it along with it. 🟢 Corporate focus shifted from growth at all cost to sustainable growth. 🟢 A Series of layoffs lead to less capacity to deliver projects so only top-level objectives get funded 🟢 Buyers are taking on less risk to keep their jobs. 🟢 And AI has made creating tools easier which means supply increased while demand decreased. 💡So ultimately it’s buyers who close deals today, not sales reps. But does that mean Direct B2B is dead and we should focus on PLG? Absolutely not - and teams that adapt to the new playing field still have a shot at hitting targets in 2024. YouTube), will start taking over the smaller ones or.... 2️⃣ ...there will be a new Intregrator, so that by paying one subscription you can have access to multiple platforms? It is important to correctly understand the % of TV time in the US. Streaming still has 40% of total TV time in the US! Would you love to be on that plane? This morning in the outside area of the gym, during our functional training class, some airplanes flew above us. Suddenly one woman said: „Oh, I would love to be on that plane.“ After a few seconds someone replied: „But then you would be landing here on the airport.“ „Oh no, I want to fly away… not come back!“ How about you?  And how about your employees? What would they say? Fly away, come back or even stay? How do they think and feel about everyday work and life? The above example is typical for many of us… and we would interpret this as the „normal“ thing to adjust your work-life-balance. Right? But what if I asked you to reflect on that for a moment. The whole work-life-balance concept seems kind of distorted and outdated to me, because it is built on an limping assumption: work = bad & energy draining vs (rest of) life = good & energy giving. (Which often then also is an illusion because the „bad“ work somehow infects our private life as well.) What if we could reframe it, re-think it, so that work could also give energy? What if we rather cared about an energy balance in our live, not artificially separating work as something bad from it, something I need to recover from in my free time? What is the one thing you could do today to bring back a little bit more of energy-balance into your life, and into your work? This is the goal of a positive leadership culture! Seeking an energy-balance, so that people on Tuesday are not already counting back the days until Friday, the next vacation, or their retirement. We all want to have fast and easy access to goods – fresh food, medical products or parts. Getting them where, when and how we want them is no longer a luxury, it’s an expectation. Fast and reliable delivery are key. And Bulgarian company Dronamics gets it. Their credo is: “Enabling same-day delivery for everyone, everywhere.” To deliver on this promise, they developed Black Swan, a remotely-piloted cargo #drone made for long distances. Black Swan can carry the same load as a small #cargo van over a distance of up to 2,500 kilometers (1,550 miles). On top of that, the company is also looking to switch to alternative, low and carbon-free fuels and claims that the “Black Swan” is up to 80% faster, 50% cheaper and produces 60% fewer emissions than other #transportation methods. To keep product development on track, Dronamics is managing everything from design to manufacturing within Dassault Systèmes’ single platform.
