Stop in on Wednesday and learn more about our team! *Come make a difference with us!* As a Student Success Specialist, you'll play a vital role in promoting positive behavior and fostering social skills development among our students in our Early Learning Academy and K-5 program.
While collaborating closely with a wide range of team of employees, families, and our Student Success Director, you'll have the opportunity to evaluate and support behavior plans, provide individual and small-group interventions for enhancing social-emotional skills, and closely monitor progress.
Join us in making a difference and helping our future generation thrive! *These are some of the things our Student Success Specialist will do:* * Assist with implementing behavior plans for students with identified needs, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
* Provide guidance and structure for students throughout all programs.
* Ensure the students we serve are learning positive behaviors, provide guidance, and enforce appropriate discipline when needed.
* Provide a variety of materials and resources for children that are designed to promote physical, mental, and social development.
* Keep knowledge of, and administer first aid according to prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary.
* Follow established policy and procedure to report and assist in resolving complaints or concerns.
* Welcome new families and students to activities and encourage participation.
* Prepare students for further development by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.
* Maintain accurate reports, records, and data pertaining to students.
* Model and train staff on the implementation of behavior intervention plans.
* Collaborate with program staff, families, and other professionals to support students’ behavior and social development.
* Responsible for all other duties and tasks as assigned by the Student Success Director.
*Here’s what we can offer for schedule, pay, and benefits:* * The starting pay for this role is $17.
50 per hour and up, based on experience.
* This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with daytime hours.
Our entire organization works Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

* Previous experience working with children and youth or a working knowledge of behavior management and social skills development is preferred.
* Must be organized with excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to take initiative, prioritize duties, work independently, and as part of a team.
* The ability to remain flexible and adaptable to change.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* A valid CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of employment is required.
CPR training and certification is provided in-house by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.
