Meet Mia Michon | Aspiring model and actor.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mia Michon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mia Michon, how do you think about risk?
I truly believe in the saying the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. I don’t think a person can succeed without taking the first necessary steps that I would consider risk to get yourself out there. I’ve taken risk that has given me better opportunities and I’ve taking risk that I’ve learned from to make better decisions for my future.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started modeling when I was seven and was offered many positions but at the time I was young and uninterested in traveling without my father at such a young age. I tell them all the time I wish they would have made that decision for me. But getting older I just wanted to get back to something I feel I’m a natural at. It’s something I enjoy doing that just requires me being myself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being that my best friend lives about an hour away from me and we always enjoy the area I would stick to some of our normal routines. We would have brunch at some of my favorite spots ; Another Broken Egg, Atlanta breakfast club and Escobar. Lunch and dinner would be at a steakhouse. STK and Cuts are 2 of my favorite spots. Hitting a couple lounges for hookah and drinks of Tequila Repesado.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe everything to my mom for the life lessons she has taught and instilled in me. I also want to thank 50 cent for writing the book “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter” It’s a great read and gave me a different outlook on not giving up on your dreams.
