Boomkat Product Review:

Big debut from the hotly-tipped Leeds/Notts Bass-heads, Mak & Pasteman, bulked up with ace Lando Kal and Youandewan remixes. 'Do The Same' performs cut-up vocal surgery on 'floor rushing House-to-Breakbeat rollers rhythm replete with bum-pushin' bass and super-tidy arrangement trickery. Lando Kal's remix, reduces and re-focuses the groove on a muscular, mercurial square bass accented with diamond-tipped hi-hats while the vocals take on a darker, sexier persona. Flipside 'Lost' struggles to stand out as much, but Youandewan's sophisticated dub looks to classic New Jersey and Chicago styles for inspiration, coming up roses with a swinging slice of Deep end dancefloor romance.
