- TCL using GenAI for TCLtvPlus content - Smart TV Manufacturer TCL is using GenAI to create content for its TCLtvPlus service, reports Next TV (full article link below 👇) The first example of this content, named ‘Next Stop Paris’, is the expected to debut in the summer. According to the article TCL was later to the own-brand streaming service party than other manufacturers, but wants to use original programming to build up both viewing, and also the brand. And what’s more interesting is the intent to collaborate with Hollywood filmmakers and writers on future projects. 💡 "Fragmentation in the OOH industry is real because everyone is being slightly more protective and own their measurement," Chloe Neo, CEO, OMG Singapore said at ATS Singapore 2024 last week. She added that if the industry doesn't have a single currency of measurement, agencies and brands should come together to create a measurement framework and attribute marketing ROI based on the data compared. During the session on innovations in OOH advertising, the panellists also discussed the challenges in measuring OOH effectiveness, digital transformation in Southeast Asia, and fake OOH ads. Key takeaways include: • AI has accelerated the creativity process by creating prototypes within a short period, improved operational efficiency, and shown the ability to produce different permutations rapidly. • Using AI to drive greater levels of creativity in the OOH space, enabling our people to be more creative and come up with better ideas so that we can get a greater return on it. • While Singapore is the first nation to have full 5G coverage, the country's DOOH isn't fully connected due to the fragmentation in the industry. The connectivity will unleash different options — AR and mixed reality can be integrated into DOOH and the industry can even leverage AI for this space. • Fake OOH (FOOH) can inspire new creatives and new ways of thinking.
