If your response to the following three questions is "Yes", this webinar is for you! -- Are you a present or prospective co-founder or employee of a US-based venture? -- Is your company considered a small business with 500 or fewer employees? -- Do you have at least one of the following: (1) Initial prototype or promising data; (2) Customers or documented customer discovery/market study; (3) Initial funding from any source ? Every year, the US Small Business Administration supports technology-based ventures with non-dilutive, non-repayable funding in the amount of $4.4 Billion for R&D projects that benefit the United States and its economy. With typical SBIR/STTR grants ranging up to $2 Million per project, this represents a viable funding source that is often overlooked in venture ecosystems. Eligible startups that receive SBIR/STTR funds oftentimes attract private capital that greatly exceeds the original grant award, the moment it is announced. Last Week Funding & M&A Updates (07 - 12 Oct) 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: - 32 startups raised around $134.42 million. - 4 growth-stage deals and 22 early-stage deals. - 6 startups kept the transaction details undisclosed. 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬: - 4 startups raised $55.8 million. - Haber (Industrial robotics maker) spearheaded its $38 million debt funding round. - SPRY (SaaS platform) raised $15 million - Followed by Aereo (aerial intelligence platform) and Sorich Foils (pharmaceutical packaging startup) with $1.8 million and $1 million in funding respectively. 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬: - 22 startups secured funding worth $78.62 million. - Bumtum led the list. - UrjaMobility, Economy Process Solutions, XDLINX, Dezy followed.
