These Principles were introduced to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the investment and risk management processes of MPF funds, fostering greater alignment with global sustainability goals. . Over the past three years, the Principles have served as a cornerstone for promoting sustainable investment practices among MPF trustees and fund managers. . Key achievements include: . 1. Increased ESG Integration: A growing number of MPF trustees have embedded ESG factors into their decision-making frameworks, ensuring that investments consider long-term risks and opportunities arising from climate change, social responsibility, and governance issues. . 2.
