    What happens? They repeat the mistakes made in previous implementations and get poor results—again. According to my 12 years of research, nine out of 10 strategy implementations fail. Clearly, leaders are underestimating the whole implementation challenge.

    In fact, leaders are struggling to find the knowledge they need to do things differently—especially in a form that is succinct and easy to read. Only a few books are available on the subject and very few highlight the critical, core messages.
