    The objective of the project was to study & compare the customer retention patterns in 3 different industries using 2 statistical analysis tools.

    The industries studied were:

    1) FMCG Sector
    2) Automotive Sector
    3) Telecommunications Sector

    The objective of the project was to study & compare the customer retention patterns in 3 different industries using 2 statistical analysis tools.

    The main factors responsible for buying behavior were identified in each of the industries and then the effects of those factors on customer retention(in each of these industries) were checked using Logistic Regression.

    The project involved creating a model from given data set to predict customer retention model for a telecom provider in USA. The model was to run through diagnostic check by running it against a data set. Also, business action points were to be suggested which would allow easier customer retention.

    The project created an econometric model of BSE Sensex Index. The model tried to evaluate effect of various World Stock Indices such as NYSE Composite, FTSE 100, Nikkei 225. Another important factor that was considered in model was FII Inflow in Equity.

    The model also checked structural stability of data before and after 2008 crisis. The results were that due to high multicollinearity between NYSE Composite and FTSE 100 index. FTSE 100 was dropped from model. NYSE Composite Index had…

A real time analytics case study was given to all the participants and the winner was chosen on the basis of the solutions provided by the participants for the given case study problem.
