First leader was Yahoo Search then there is Google Search. First was blackberry then there is Android. First was Netscape, then there is Chrome. Every single time Google has done it and becomes the leader. Glad #pluto7 did bet on the right partner early on with Ai since 2016 to solve domain centric problems with supply chain. The technology was ready for Enterprises to adopt even then, but the change management took so long and the technology has got 10x+ simpler and cheaper now ready for scale. I was at #SFF24 & #WFIS-Jakarta recently and saw a growing focus on #dataprivacy and #dataresidency, something that is now working its way across #APAC. This shift I believe that stems from three key drivers: 1. Stricter Regulations: Landmark frameworks like #Singapore’s #PDPA and #India’s #DPDPAct are raising the bar for data protection and accountability. 2. Increased Public Awareness: High-profile #databreaches and #privacy scandals have heightened consumer vigilance about #personal information security. 3. Cyber Threats: The rise in #phishing attacks has pushed businesses and governments to prioritise #EnterpriseSecurity & #personaldata security measures urgently. While #DataPrivacy is about our right to control how our #personaldata is collected, used, and shared.#DataResidency speaks to where our data is stored geographically and the laws governing its use in that location. In the early days of the #Internet, we unknowingly exchanged personal-data for free services, making it the currency of the digital age. Now, with the rise of #Web3, the paradigm is shifting. Individuals are slowly taking control as custodians of their data, paving the way for decentralised and ownership-driven ecosystems. This new emerging reality raises some interesting questions. 1. One wonders how businesses will adapt their models to align with evolving privacy expectations? 2. Achieving Singapore’s National AI Strategy (NAIS) will require more than just chips or code. It’s going to take the best of both. NAIS aims to build scalable, impactful AI solutions – as do we. Both ServiceNow and NVIDIA have committed to helping the government advance NAIS in various ways – from creating a new supercomputer in Singapore, to enabling the seamless delivery of critical e-government services that uplifts customer and citizen experience. It’s a long road ahead but collaboration between different industry leaders and government allows us to expand our capabilities far beyond the sum of our parts. At the packed #generativeAI analyst summit in Seattle by #AWS. They are laying out their #genAI vision, roadmap, strategy which is differentiated from many other vendors. Most of the content is under NDA so won’t be able to post here. But one message is very clear and differentiated “𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐥.” While that is not new, they are doubling down on it! It is good to see many vendors including Amazon Web Services (AWS) discussing security, compliance, risks and other soft, but important, aspects of implementing, productionizing, and scaling up generative #AI.
