Jio Financial Services announced an agreement with BlackRock Inc. and BlackRock Advisors Singapore Pte. Ltd. to establish a 50:50 joint venture. The aim is to launch wealth management and broking services, as disclosed by the company in its filing to the exchanges on Today "This joint venture further strengthens the company’s relationship with BlackRock, Inc., with whom it had announced a 50:50 joint venture on July 26, 2023, to transform India’s asset management industry through a digital-first offering and democratize access to investment solutions for investors in India," the company filing said. The joint venture agreement will also involve setting up a wealth management company and a brokerage firm in India. Jio Financial Services Ltd., the separate financial services division of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance, and BlackRock had previously announced a deal in July 2023. "Revenue-Led Growth with Product Outcomes" is a workshop for CS and CX professionals who would want to track their product outcomes and achieve business outcomes for their customers with quantitative metrics. We would be doing a series of these workshops for CS professionals in small groups to get the most value and interactions. It's an invite-only co-learning workshop. By simply asking, "Why is this important?"...he can peel back the layers of a conversation to unveil its core issues. "When you reach the core, it's simple," he explains. "It clears the clutter and sets the foundation to build on. Here's his powerful three-point strategy: 1. Recognize priorities: True priorities are few. Identify what matters most. → Focus your energy on critical areas to address the most impactful issues rather than getting bogged down by less critical matters. 2. Lead with action: Get senior leadership to focus on the core question and tailor your message. → When your message addresses things that matter to your audience, it becomes easier to garner support and drive collective action. 3. Think downstream: Connect with your team. What's in it for them? From its roots under a banyan tree to becoming Asia's pioneer stock exchange, Yesterday, we honored the remarkable journey of the Bombay Stock Exchange on its foundation day. Backstory: In the early 19th century, Bombay transformed into a bustling capitalist hub, attracting global traders with its strategic harbor and evolving infrastructure. Amid this economic surge, the Indian stock market took shape, with tradable securities and promise-to-pay notes. Cotton played a pivotal role in Bombay’s rise. By the 1840s, Colaba became the center of this thriving trade, and six Indian brokers laid the groundwork for an organized stock market. One key figure was Seth Premchand Roychand, who began trading cotton under a banyan tree at Elphinstone Circle in 1849. This banyan tree, symbolizing wisdom and unity, became a meeting place for traders. In 1875, twenty-two brokers, including Premchand, formed the Native Share and Stockbrokers Association, evolving into the BSE, Asia's first stock exchange. By 1899, the association moved to Dalal Street, thanks to financial support from Sir Dinshaw Maneckji Petit. The Swadeshi movement and the Tata Iron & Steel Co. IPO in 1907 marked significant milestones, propelling the BSE from its humble beginnings to the iconic PJ Tower. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lists the following investors as the top FDI recipients in FY24: Singapore: $11.8 billion Mauritius: $8.0 billion USA: $5.0 billion Netherlands: $4.9 billion Japan: $3.2 billion UAE: $2.9 billion United Kingdom: $1.2 billion Cyprus: $0.8 billion With an enormous investment of $11.8 billion, Singapore is in the lead, followed by the USA and Mauritius. These investments demonstrate the close economic links and international investors' faith in the Indian market.
